Camp Happy Tails: Week 3🐾
Animals & Us: Community, Culture, and Responsibility
Available spots
Service Description
This camp explores the important role animals play in our families and neighborhoods and how communities can work together to help them thrive. Campers ages 6-12 will learn about community cats and dogs, why overpopulation happens, and the positive and humane ways communities support animals through programs like TNR, fostering, and education. Through hands on activities, campers will build community cat shelters, create educational materials for the public, practice kind and respectful conversations about pet care, and solve neighborhood animal challenges together. This theme empowers kids to become compassionate helpers and advocates while showing them that community based solutions truly make a difference for animals.
